HAZELWOOD SCHOOLS: Lunch, breakfast prices will increase this year (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
Hazelwood School District lunch and breakfast prices will go up this year, due to rising food costs, salary and benefit increases and fuel costs. The request, which came from the district’s child nutrition services, got the board’s unanimous approval Tuesday night.

At Penn State University, Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in nutrition and Kara her Bachelor of Science in psychology. Chris has a master’s in nutrition from the University of Massachusetts. At the University of Pittsburgh, Kara got her master’s in exercise physiology, and both Chris and Kara earned doctorates in exercise physiology. Chris is also a registered dietitian.
